Feeding Programs

Feeding children in the village is an important issue because many families do not have enough food or access to healthy meals. This can lead to malnutrition, especially in young children, which affects their growth and ability to learn. In response, Joy Foundation has organized a feeding program that provides children with at least one meal a day at school. These meals help students stay healthy and make it easier for them to focus on learning. While these efforts are helping, more support is needed to make sure all children in Liberia have enough to eat every day.

Our Challenges

The Joy Foundation-JMM faces several challenges in raising the funds needed to carry out its mission. Currently, the organization relies heavily on contributions from its members, as well as occasional donations from supportive family and friends. While these sources are appreciated, they are often limited and unpredictable, making it difficult to plan and sustain long-term projects. The foundation also organizes musical concerts, stage plays, and food sales from time to time, but these events require significant effort and resources, and the proceeds are not always enough to meet growing needs. Without consistent funding or access to larger donors and grants, the Joy Foundation struggles to expand its impact and reach more people in need.
